Helloooooo
Hows it going people who probably wont read this. Well i have never been one of those people that have "BLOGGGGEEEDD!!!", however i am bored and it seems like a good idea that the present time. I figured that i will probably write about a few different things but mainly one of my passions and loves...........MOVIES!!!!!!!!!!!! Now i know i probably seem like a big nerd that is blogging about film but i truly have a passion for it.
Since this is my very first blog i was going to just briefly discuss some of my favorite movies and what i like about them.
Well it is very hard to say what any ones favorite movie is but I'm going to try. Since it is very hard for me to pick between comedies and drama(which i feel shouldn't be so segregated) i going to make two top 10 list and say a little about some of the movies.
First, the comedies. I am a big fan of comedies and especially stand up which i will discuss in another blog. Here are my top 10 in no particular order.
1. Dumb and Dumber-One of the first comedies are saw when i was really young. Big Jim Carrery fan.
2. Ghostbusters-Another movie I saw at a young age. Probably watched it the most as a child. Loved it!
3. Blazzing Saddles-Mel Brooks fan. Defiantly one of the funniest movies of all time.
4. Night of the Roxbury-A stupid movie but i like it. Personally i think it is Will Ferrell best work.
5. Wedding Crashers-Saw this after everyone else in the world saw. Everyone hyped it up. I thought it was hilarious.
6. Swingers
7.Caddyshack
8. Groundhog Day
9.Grandmas Boy
10. Forgetting Sarah Marshall- Def. the best work of the Judd Apatow produced movies in my opinion.
Now for the Dramas.
1. On the Waterfront- Marlon Brando is probably my favorite actor. The film is amazing.
2. Taxi Driver- Martin Scorsese best work. Also my favorite director.
3. American History X- A movie everyone should watch.
4. Almost Famous
5. Reservoir Dogs
6. The Godfather- In my opinion the most perfect film ever.
7. 12 Angry Men
8. Forrest Gump- Who doesn't love that movie and Tom Hanks
9. Harsh Times
10. The Usual Suspects.
Well that is enough blogging for tonight. I will probably do this at least once a week.
